Green Christmas

December 1st…Christmas is in full swing.

Radio stations started playing Johnny Mathis Thanksgiving Day.

My trees were decorated and lit before Thanksgiving.

Yet…my front door was bare. Naked. Lonely.

So I started doing a little research for inspiration.

I am streamlining my Christmas decor this year…half of it staying in boxes.

I want a fresher…greener…lighter feel.

Sometimes Christmas decor can have a little too much goin’ on…if you know what I mean, Clark Griswold…

So…I found a few things to share…because they made me happy…

Chandelier wreaths are so fun…and unexpected…

I love anything with berries this year…

a star…perfection…

and more berries…loving the layering of color and the vintage bread bowl with reindeer moss

(and I just so happen to have an empty bread bowl…hmmmm)

boxwood wreath with pears on the table…my heart sings…

love the kelly green ornaments in the window…

And then I found this… I die.

So…now I am on a mission…to find or make (most likely the latter) something green…airy and Christmas-y for my front door.

Oh, the possibilities…

Love ya friends!
