I’m back! Did you think I forgot about you? Never!
Between friends visiting, family visiting and my birthday and holiday celebrations, I have not had any time to write. But I’ve been working on some great DIY projects to share! There are so many things I can’t wait to show you.
For starters here are some pictures to re-energize us all! Juxtaposition inspiration!
I just traveled to Newport Beach and my first stop there was my love, Juxtaposition. They have an abundance of two of my favorite things: 1) pillows and furniture covered with coffee bags and jute/burlap industrial type material and 2) typography!
I’ve talked about Juxtaposition many times before and can’t get enough of them. Their motto is “Where vintage industrial, crisp linen, and found objects are not strange bed fellows.” LOVE!
Here are some of the amazing things you can find at Juxtaposition.
And more flags!!
Last time I was in Juxtaposition, they had an ottoman upholstered in a union jack flag. It was gorgeous! It wan’t there this time unfortunately. I guess some lucky person snagged it!
Lots of ottomans. Most upholstered with vintage station stop signs.
Here’s a close up of the same one.
And another station stop ottoman.
All the ottomans were large and lovely. Here is another one in plain burlap.
Typography! This was my favorite wall! I wanted to rip this wall out of the store and drag it home!
Ahhhhhh! Burlap Pillows!
Beautiful glass jug with beads hanging on it. I would love to find one like this and hang my necklaces!
Candles made from coffee cans. Ohh la la!
These bags were the bomb! They were made of a water-resistant material. It looked like canvas but felt like vinyl. Great option for the beach. Or shopping. I love the off-centered typography.
Beautiful blue living room.
This headboard was interesting- linen type covering tacked to it with pull ties on the edges.
I love this store!
