Hanging Herb Garden

As much as I would love to grow my own garden…fresh veggies and herbs outside my door…I will be honest and say, I kill anything that is green.  I just can’t get it right.

My parents have an amazing garden and enjoy the fruits of the labor all the time.  I obviously did not get that gene.

I am green with envy.

Every year my parents to come visit, we talk about ‘building Carrie a simple box garden in her backyard!’  It never happens because there is never enough time.

But then I found this brilliant idea:

And I know I can find a way to grow lots of fresh cilantro, basil, and rosemary.

Since it is a hanging garden, Bella will keep her paws to herself.

I’m off to find a hanging shoe organizer…and lots of fresh herbs!

    I LOVE this idea and am going to run out this weekend to get myself a shoe organizer and all my favourite herbs!! I have a big backyard, but I also have 2 big dogs who use it as their playground. No garden could survive them unfortunately. This will be a cute thing to hang on the fence around my deck. Thanks for the inspiration!!
