Salted Caramel Cupcakes

If you’ve never had a Salted Caramel Cupcake, you are missing out on a little bit of heaven.

Easy to make using boxed cake mix…but if you are an overachiever, you can certainly make your own cupcakes from scratch.

Salted Caramel Cupcakes

Hershey Caramel Sauce

1/2 t. Sea Salt

Heath Bars

1 box chocolate cake mix, bake cupcakes accordingly

While your cupcakes are baking away, warm 1 cup caramel sauce.

Add 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt and stir. I promise…it’s gooooooood.

Add your caramel and sea salt to a ketchup bottle.

When your cupcakes are finished, using the tip of the bottle, insert into HOT cupcakes so the caramel sauce gets in the middle of the cupcake.

Allow the cupcakes to cool.

Using your favorite frosting and chopped Heath Bars, frost and garnish each cupcake. Then drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over each cupcake.

To. Die. For.

    YUM!!! I love anything that has the sweet and salt combinations. The new salted caramel flavor at Pinkberry is my newest obsession. I’ll have to make some of these cupcakes when I cheat on my diet!! Maybe I’ll bring some to our girl’s weekend in Round Top! :)

    Really looks ridiculously delish! Now when I make these uh~mazing cupcakes… will I get a handsome blonde mister too? ;)
